Here are seven links related to parenting that will drive you crazy and help explain why parenting is driving other people crazy. Hopefully, just hopefully, a parent’s reaction is to shrug in disgust, not worry so much, just do the best they can, and not cave into peer pressure.

The worse news is that now a bunch of hyperactive parents will drive themselves and their own kids nuts trying to compensate. I’m waiting for the punchline to finally be delivered: “Study: Parents With a Limited Understanding of Science and Statistics Easily Riled Into a Frenzy.”
2. “The Baby-Name Business“: Parents driving themselves nuts over what to name their kids. It used to be, the average American understood that Frank Zappa was a nutcase for naming his kids Dweezil and Moon Unit. This is another example of idiot parents relying on unqualified experts when what they need to rely on is their own common sense.
3. Forbidden Knowledge: It turns out, three out of four SIDS deaths are probably infanticide. This doesn’t surprise me in the least. Nor does it bother me. The worst thing that could happen is that society could get all worked up over this sensible and natural phenomena and intrude further into family life.
4. Can the level of math education sink any lower?: A funny take on teaching “social” math. Stupid parents raise stupider kids. I’ll be using flash cards, like my Mom did with me.
5. Death by Veganism: Stupid parents kill their newborn with an all-Vegan diet. I actually feel sorry for this couple and think that they have suffered enough through their own stupidity and ignorance and the results thereof. The criminal justice system is not a place to rectify bad parenting.
6. “How children lost the right to roam in four generations“: Coddling our kids, and modern conveniences, shrink our children’s world.
7. “Homework sucks: The case against homework“: Yes. Yes, it does.

So that’s it. It’s no wonder young, smart liberals are petrified of breeding.
