Kudos to Sears Auto Center for Great Service

Getting a car serviced, especially for the mechanically uninclined, can be an unpleasant experience. Costs are uncertain and service is often poor. Good service deserves recognition.

A recent visit to the Sears Auto Center at 9020 Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst, New York, was a great experience. We had to get a new car battery, as our old one was dying and had to be jump-started just to get to the store. It was past 4 p.m. on a Sunday.

From driving straight into the express service entrance, to leaving with our newly installed battery, the whole process took less than twenty minutes. The service was efficient and pleasant. The facility was immaculate. The showroom was well-organized and uncluttered. The service area was viewable from the waiting room. The prices were fair.

I know people gush about the shopping experience at Apple stores, but to me, this Sears Auto Center was the best experience I have had shopping in a long time.

Thank you, Sears.
